Pokemon X and Y Opening

Welcome to Pokeblogz's X and Y walkthrough! This strategy guide is designed to help you get through the game, giving you starteies for gym leaders and trainers and even which pokemon and items to find.

Starting

When you fire up the new game along with your system you are greeted with nice 3D pokemon.
Now you start a new game you are introduced to this new world by your professor who doesn't know your gender let alone your name.

You then start by revealing your real gender or whichever one you prefer to play with. It would be a cool thing if the customized the game in such a manner that if you take male its more beastly stuff and if you take girl its girly stuff.
Now you choose a name and begin!

Well you cant begin without choosing a starter of course so you get to choose one starter out of the unique three:

Froakie

You can tell this toad was named fast (hint, it sounds like croakie and frogs croak)

bubblebeam is revealed to be one of its moves not only by its water typing but because of its description.

Froakie can jump to high building and uses bubbles to protect itself from attacks which can also be launched at the foe to obscure the foe's vision.

it seems they might have made bubblebeam to raise evasiveness of the user.

Chespin

sounds like cheren at first and it seems to share a slight resemblance with farfetch'd. Farfetchd carries a stick and chespin carries some grass hat on it head.
Fennekin

"Please let it not be a fire fighting type"
This quote pretty much sums up the hate this pokemon would receive if it turns out to have a fire fighting evolution especially to unsuspecting gamers.

So doesn't matter which starter you choose your foe will always have the type advantage which isn't a pretty big deal but it gives him the upper hand on the first fight but thats what makes it challenging.
